About
G & S Farms – “The Beginning”
Emilio Ghiggeri planted the first sweet corn in Brentwood in 1940s when the area was known primarily for its production of lettuce, apricots and melons. The farm became G&S (Ghiggeri and Stonebarger) Farms in the 1980s when Glenn Stonebarger, who is a 3rd year-generation Brentwood farmer, married Emilio’s daughter, Jeanine.
G&S Farms – “Today”
The farming operation continues today under the management of Glenn, with the help of his nephew, Joseph Ghiggeri, and two sons, Paul and Michael. As a family, G&S Farms is proud to be farming all Non-Gmo produce. Our farm’s staple products consist of our Brentwood Diamond Sweet Corn as well as our Brentwood Cherries. We are honored to be one of the few surviving farms in the rapidly growing community of Brentwood and hope that our farm fresh produce will have the chance to reach your dinner table!
Just 500 yards east on Chestnut off Sellers.
Family-owned since 1940. 4th generation farmers, Ghiggerri & Stonebarger have grown Brentwood’s Sweet Corn since 1990. “Our heritage . . our tradition . . our quality . . our promise!”
During Fall
We have our U-pick pumpkin patch. Cut your pumpkin right off the vine. Fun family activities include pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, corn maze, and other fun activities.
